The Archdiocese of New Orleans invited the artists of the community to contribute to the Year of the Eucharist and St. Joseph by giving artistic expression to the love poured out to us in Christ through the Eucharist.

After evaluating nearly 250 works of art, winners were selected in the Open Art & Youth Art Divisions. Their artwork will remain on display through the end of 2021 at the Archdiocese of New Orleans offices (7887 Walmsley Avenue, New Orleans,) as well as be featured in the archdiocesan True Presence Nights, taking place between October 5 – November 11, 2021.

Most pieces that won the Open Art Division will be up for auction beginning Tuesday, October 5th. Proceeds from each auction item go to the artist of the piece and a portion to a non-profit Catholic organization of the artist’s choice in their name.

We hope that you will be able to see the winning pieces of art this fall and that it helps you in your personal spiritual understanding of the True and Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist along with the sacred role St. Joseph played in the life of the Holy Family and plays in our Church today.
